Quality Management Test Lead
Responsible for assessing requirements, design
documentation and other project artifacts to develop the QA test approach while
working with project teams. Create and
execute the corresponding test strategies, test plans, and test cases as
needed. Work effectively and collaboratively within the scrum team, across
scrum teams, and with other QA team members. Assume a leadership role in defect/issue
analysis and resolution. Work closely
with the QA Manager to complete post-implementation deliverables and participate
in Lessons Learned and Retrospective sessions with project team members. Train and mentor
junior Quality Assurance Test associates in best practices, system knowledge,
and processes. Actively contribute to development and implementation of Quality
Assurance best practices and in process improvements throughout the department.


a) **Education andExperience:**




Minimum of 3 - 5
years experience leading QA project activities within medium to large projects



3- 5 years with Agile and Waterfall software development
life cycle (SDLC)



Experience with full quality management lifecycle for
application development and delivery





b) **Training requirements** :



Software Testing or Test Management Certifications from
ASQ or QAI (CSTE, CQA, et al) preferred





c) **Knowledge and skills:**



Demonstrated ability to analyze business requirements,
design documents and other project documents to determine risk factors and
critical test conditions



Demonstrated understanding of key business functions,
transactions and reporting methods



Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders,
including senior managers



Ability to influence and be persuasive



Ability to take ownership and deliver medium and large
sized projects while mentoring and directing team members



Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and communication
skills, both written and verbal



Strong negotiation skills with the ability to resolve
conflicts and problems and follow through to completion



Proven track record of working effectively with team
members as well as technical and business representatives



Demonstrated contributions to QA and IT process
improvement efforts





d) **Technical Skills**



3 - 5 years experience using HP Quality Center/JIRA or other defect/test management tools



3 - 5 years experience with automated testing tools
(Selenium,QTP) approaches and data query tools



Demonstrate competency with database structures and use
of SQL or similar querying language



Demonstrated QA expertise or technical experience in
several of the following areas:




Mainframe systems




Web Services Architecture (SOA)




Application Server Technology



Security Services
and Security Access Controls
