The content developed is vital to the growth of UnitedHealthcare's individual line of business web presence and sales.
This role requires the creation of original content specifically around the use of key words and phrases that optimizes SEO and engages a potential customer to shop our site for their health insurance needs.
This role requires the ability to research and present information in a clear, creative way that is both solid in its content and appealing in its delivery.
Skills sets include, but are not limited to: professional writing and editing skills, organization of facts and thoughts, ability to communicate clearly both verbally as well as written word, and a keen focus among distractions.
The person right for this role is someone who can put themselves in the shoes of our customer, and make connections that help the customer better understand our health insurance products and make a confident purchasing decision.
Other responsibilities will include: developing ad hoc content to support product/sales campaigns, including but not limited to emails, flyers, product brochures, and other duties as required. The person for this role is self-motivated and driven to deliver his or her best every day.
This role acts as representative of the company and should reflect professionalism while being personable, positive, and well versed in the written word. Primary Responsibilities: Draft new content primarily for web pages with an understanding of key words and phrases for SEO value, but also be required to revise and edit previous content.Contribute to other communication needs including but not limited to: emails, marketing collateral and presentations.Working with internal customers to define communication needs and work to deliver appropriate messages to various target audiences, as well as anticipate customer needs and proactively develop solutions to meet them.Review work performed by others and provide recommendations for improvement.Provide explanations and information to others on the most complex issues.Design experience using Adobe Creative Suite and experience with email marketing platforms like SalesForce / Exact Target is a plus.
Knowledge of Content Management Systems like Word Press or Site Core is another plus. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Business / Marketing, Communications, Public Relations with 3+ years of post-graduation experience within the Marketing field3+ years of experience editing3+ years of writing experience, in marketing, communications or public relations 3+ years of experience using Microsoft Office Suite to include Excel - ability to use filter, sort, enter data into spreadsheets and Powerpoint - ability to put together presentations, use images and animation, as well as charts and graphs Preferred Qualifications: Healthcare Industry ExperienceExperience with email platforms like SalesForce / Exact Target Experience with content management programs like Site Core, Word Press, etc.
