**Position Summary:**

This position will be a full-time member of an Agile implementation team, representing the needs of various Product Managers. The candidate will have a solid understanding of business processes and the design of associated supporting systems and will be responsible for understanding the vision and goals of the business/Product Managers and representing this vision to the Agile team. The position is responsible for the overall success of the solution being developed or enhanced and acts as the voice of the stakeholders to ensure the right solution is developed and implemented. The position is responsible for working with Project Managers to prioritize the Product Backlog and will work within the scrum team to prioritize backlog stories into each Sprint. The position is responsible for understanding the desired outcomes and expectations of the business and conveying those to the team and will provide approval for artifacts and key stage gates. The position is empowered to make micro decisions on behalf of the business to enable delivery of desired outcomes. The position is responsible for acting as a liaison to the business and stakeholders, keeping them informed of Sprint and Product Backlog progress, implementation dates, key decisions, and any impediments/escalations. This position will ensure education materials are developed and delivered to the business timely, will coordinate with the UAT team to ensure comprehensive testing, and providing information and recommendations to Product Owners.

**Key Responsibilities:**

**Business/Technical Analysis, Prioritization, and Scheduling - 70%**

+ Actively engages as key voice in Sprint Planning, content and forecasting, Sprint Goals, Sprint Reviews and Retrospection
+ Serves as a leader on the Agile team to convey the vision and goals at the beginning of every Sprint and every Release
+ Provides guidance, direction and leadership to the team, making decisions to keep team progressing forward
+ Engages with Scrum Team daily as the main business representative, ensures team has all the information they need to make good progress on development
+ Understands System functioning and relationships and applies this knowledge to User Stories developed
+ Makes recommendations to the business for features that work within existing technical architecture
+ Researches existing requirements and design to support modification requests
+ Defines the features of the product and educates the Scrum Team on the business processes
+ Creates user stories and defines acceptance criteria. Provides guidance to other story writers
+ Re-reviews all stories for completeness prior to Day 1 Sprint Planning session
+ Communicates openly with Product Managers/stakeholders including impediment escalations
+ Coordinates with other Agile teams to ensure teams are not working at cross purposes in terms of conflicting or overlapping requirements Approves test plan, test cases, Sprint Review and Production Release
+ Coordinates UAT with Testing team
+ Approves working software and prioritizes defects

**Project Management - 20%**

+ Manage work streams to accomplish project work
+ Work with IT partners to ensure team is engaged in all projects impacting business areas supported
+ Ensure engagement of business stakeholders, operational areas and compliance partners for team to elicit, define and accurately translate business requests into system requirements
+ Works with the Product Managers and stakeholders to understand business priorities, prioritizes backlog, and makes sure the most valuable work possible is always performed
+ Provides status to Senior Management on a routine basis
+ Escalates risks and issues to senior management that have direct impacts to project progress
+ Demonstrates the solution to key stakeholders as needed and gains acceptance/approval
+ Ensures training documentation is provided to Education teams and plans roll out/Implementation with appropriate teams

**Leadership, Decision making, Other - 10%**

+ Proactively works with the business to identify opportunities for enhancements that will improve operations efficiency and customer experience
+ Manage priority of assignments to meet all deadlines
+ Develop, implement and manage cross training initiatives for staff internally as well as cross departmentally to enhance subject matter expertise within team
+ Liaison to the Risk Partners and Business/Education teams



+ Bachelor's Degree or other related field and/or equivalent work experience


+ 2 years of in depth business area or business operations experience (non-entry level)
+ 2 years of experience working with IT systems in support of business operations and/or customers
+ Demonstrated analytical skills and problem solving experience
+ Experience in working with Agile implementation preferred

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:**

+ Ability to work independently with moderate oversight
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
+ Ability to make decisions, lead others, delegate and effectively resolve conflicts
+ Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
+ Ability to understand complex technical system requirement and translate them into business terms (user stories)
+ Working knowledge of waterfall and agile modes of delivery preferred
+ Comprehensive Microsoft Office skills including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio and Sharepoint
+ Excellent presentation skills

+ Ability to plan, organize and work with minimal supervision
+ Flexibility in work schedule to meet business needs and able to adapt to change quickly
+ Ability to travel (5-15% of time)
